Whether it is for the contents, building or both, as part of our fire and flood restoration services we offer a full cleaning and decontamination service. We ensure the removal of harmful contaminants and odours and prepare the site of the incident for any re-instatement work required.

From the first call we ensure that all safety aspects are covered. If there is a possibility that the electrics have been affected by the fire or flood we will ensure that they are checked by an accredited electrician. Any affected items will be tested and then made safe. If necessary we can arrange rewires and replacement of fixtures and fittings. We can also arrange for any electrical contents to be PAT tested.

We can accommodate the cleaning of curtains soft furnishings and clothes. Dry Cleaning and laundry is another of the fire and flood restoration services we offer and this is a comprehensive package where all items will be removed from site and returned cleaned and packaged.

As part of Tempest Restoration’s fire and flood restoration services we can offer building work from making properties safe to rebuilding walls our builders can handle the whole spectrum both internally and externally. We have replaced walls, ceilings, floors among other things during the fire and flood restoration process ensuring that the property is returned to pre-incident condition with the minimum of disruption.

Our painters and decorators are available to recreate the affected areas to how they were before the fire or flood once the building re-instatement work is complete.

Using craftsmen we can often save fire or flood damaged furniture by careful restoration.

We can also provide a restoration service if the wood flooring, laminate or tiles have been affected by a fire or flood. Wooden floors can be dried, sanded and re-sealed and we can strip and re-seal finished tiled floors and if necessary replace laminate.

Should the fire or flood cause extensive damage and it is necessary to remove the contents to prevent further damage we offer a removal and storage service. Effects will be packed and removed from the property and placed in a secure storage facility until re-instatement work is completed.
